My name is Louise Brandman

I'm a Registered Nurse and Midwife with 18 years of clinical experience, including five years as an Infant Feeding Lead Midwife and time on a neonatal unit. That background sits behind everything I create — every piece of content, every course, and every partnership is grounded in evidence, not opinion.

Alongside my work at Breastfeeding Educator Hub, I co-author a series of breastfeeding books with Victoria Palavecino Richard's, an IBCLC and naturopath — including The Two Mother Breastfeeding Guide (English and Spanish editions), From Milk Lost to Milk Found, Breastfeeding Against the Odds, and Your Baby, Your Milk, Your Journey. The series draws on our combined clinical experience to fill genuine gaps in breastfeeding support — for two-mum families, for relactation, for complex and difficult journeys — that most existing guidance simply doesn't cover.

I work with brands, platforms, and organisations who are aligned with evidence-based, realistic, and supportive care for mothers and babies.

What We Can Work On

My Approach

Everything I create is:

  • Evidence-based

  • Honest and clinically informed

  • Designed to genuinely support mothers — not overwhelm them

In practice, this means:

  • Translating clinical knowledge into accessible, reassuring guidance

  • Addressing real concerns that mothers are actively experiencing

  • Creating content that feels supportive rather than overwhelming

  • Aligning messaging with both parents and professionals

The result is content that doesn't just inform — it builds long-term confidence in both the product and the brand.

Who I Work With

I collaborate with brands that:

  • Prioritise mothers' wellbeing and experience

  • Value evidence-based, responsible communication

  • Are looking to build trust, not just visibility

  • Want to connect meaningfully with both parents and healthcare professionals

Collaboration Options

Collaborations are tailored depending on your goals, and may include:

  • One-off projects (e.g. educational content or product-focused pieces)

  • Short-term campaigns

  • Ongoing monthly partnerships

I aim to keep all collaborations focused, effective, and aligned with both your brand and my professional standards.

The Village

A Trusted Network Supporting You Through Motherhood

Motherhood is not meant to be navigated alone.

As a specialist midwife and breastfeeding expert, I’ve always believed the best support comes from a combination of clinical knowledge, lived experience, and the right people around you.

The Village is a carefully selected network of professionals and partners I trust — each bringing specialist expertise to support women through pregnancy, early motherhood, and beyond.

At The Breastfeeding Educator Hub, we are dedicated to supporting families on their breastfeeding journey.

Victoria IBCLC, the Village’s passionate partner and Infant Feeding Lead, brings both expertise and warmth to every session. She has had the privilege of supporting over 5,000 mothers in reaching their feeding goals, whether through breastfeeding, formula feeding, or expressing. Victoria is equipped to provide tailored, compassionate support to meet each family’s needs.

In her current role as Infant Feeding Lead and Baby Friendly Initiative Coordinator at an NHS hospital, she is dedicated to achieving UNICEF Baby Friendly Accreditation, with a strong focus on improving breastfeeding rates and enhancing support for families across the community.

Guiding You Through, Feeding, and Early Motherhood —
With the Best Experts by Your Side.

From pregnancy to postpartum recovery, from breastfeeding challenges to infant sleep, many women are left trying to figure things out alone — often overwhelmed by conflicting advice and unrealistic expectations.

As a specialist midwife and breastfeeding expert, I see this every day and I also see what changes everything:

👉 The right support, at the right time, from the right people.

🌿 Why The Village Exists

The reality is, no single professional can support every aspect of motherhood.

You may need:

  • A lactation consultant for feeding support

  • A tongue tie specialist for clinical assessment

  • A sleep expert for realistic routines

  • Guidance on weaning and feeding as your baby grows

Every professional in The Village is selected based on:

  • Clinical expertise and qualifications

  • Evidence-based practice

  • A realistic, non-judgemental approach

  • A shared focus on supporting mothers — not overwhelming them

This isn’t a directory.

It’s a trusted network.

The Village was created to bring all of that support together.

A trusted, carefully curated network of professionals — each selected not just for their qualifications, but for how they support women in real life.

🌿 Why Trust The Village?

Motherhood is complex — and the right support can make all the difference.
