Clinical expertise behind meaningful education

From clinical knowledge to customer experience
Clinical education can contribute to much more than ensuring information is accurate. It can influence how people understand products and services, interact with an organisation and experience a brand at different stages of their journey.
Louise helps organisations consider how clinical education can form part of the overall customer experience. By combining clinical expertise with an understanding of parents, professionals and organisational audiences, she can help transform complex information into clear educational experiences that support understanding and build trust.
This can include:
-
Website educational content – Clinically informed website content that makes complex maternity, feeding and parent-focused subjects easier to understand.
-
Retail customer education – Practical education that helps customers better understand maternity, breastfeeding and infant feeding products.
-
Video content – Accessible educational videos designed for parents, customers, employees or professional audiences.
-
Product education – Clinical information that helps audiences understand products and their wider context.
-
Parent information resources – Guides, articles and educational materials developed around parents' information needs.
-
Staff training – Education that helps employees and professional teams develop relevant knowledge and communicate with greater confidence.
-
Campaign content – Clinical insight and educational content for maternity, parenting and healthcare-related campaigns.
-
Professional resources – Educational materials created specifically for healthcare and other professional audiences.
-
Educational journeys – Education designed around different stages of an audience's interaction with an organisation, service or product.
This broader approach enables clinical education to become part of how an organisation communicates, educates and supports its audience rather than existing as a standalone piece of information.

The book explores complex breastfeeding experiences, including feeding through cancer treatment, following mastectomy and during extreme prematurity, alongside experiences involving HIV, insufficient glandular tissue, thyroid disease, diabetes, bereavement and displacement.
It also considers situations in which breastfeeding difficulties may initially be attributed to a mother's milk when another underlying factor may be involved.
The collection provides insight into the complexity of individual feeding experiences and demonstrates the importance of looking beyond assumptions when understanding the circumstances of each family.
